SAVAGE REPUBLIC at the Anti Club in Hollywood was my first real show. I’m pretty sure I was around 13 years old. In my mind, none of the bands were hardcore enough for me; that being said, in retrospect I’m glad I went. I got to see 100 Flowers and SAVAGE REPUBLIC, who totally stole the show even though they were like nothing I had ever heard. Today I’m super stoked to share with y’all their new video “Nothing at All.” I also want to salute SAVAGE REPUBLIC for creating pulsating and thought-provoking music for decades! Their performance in the 80s has stuck with me my whole life — respect due!
