To celebrate its first decade of magnificent doom, psych, and stoner rock releases, Magnetic Eye Records hosted the Day of Doom label showcase at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus Bar in November 2019. It featured performances from MER bands including Domkraft, Elephant Tree, Horsehunter, and Summoner. Today I’m happy to share something you can get stoned and rock out to: a track off the Summoner Day of Doom Live album called “The Interloper (Live).” I can only imagine how blistering these riffs were live! This is headbang-heavy, thick with reefer smoke, magical mind journey music. Listening to “The Interloper,” I can just imagine the crowd of sweaty, smelly, blissfully unaware of their actual impending doom crowd that were rocking out to it. The full Day of Doom Live series comes out on December 11th and you can pre-order them here. Right now, hit play on Summoner “The Interloper” below!
