What does it feel like to descend into madness? What does it look like? Virginia’s SNAKE MOUNTAIN REVIVAL have a sound that sells it to me! There’s a lot of psych-infused rock that comes across my desk, and it’s rare that a band hits that perfect balance of heavy and melody that has me swaying at my desk and wanting more! The Valley of Madness EP does it for me, and they also worked with one of our favorite directors, Zev Deans/Panorama Programming, to create an absolutely stunning and perfect video to go with the title track. Put me in restraints and force me to watch this video on repeat, and I’ll be happy – it’s pure eye candy.
