Right now, I want to turn y’all on to this amazing release by Cumbreyabismo. Real talk, it’s a straight ripper from beginning to end. I love the depth of their songs and how they take my mind to a place where walk on the broken limbs of nazis and all of their followers. This band’s music is thick with the kind of hate that gets me hyped to smack the taste out of the mouths of those who oppress us! Cumbreyabismo has roots in the Crust punk community and that comes through in their dirgy anthems. I love how they can weave loads of murky empathy into their songs. I want this band to know that I’m dealing with some heavy Nazi business right now and that their music has given me the energy I need to say Nazi Metal Heads FUCK OFF!
PLAGUES Dystopian Misanthropy Vol. 2
If you are an avid reader of CVLT Nation then you know we are HUGE fans of band PLAGUES! These creative humans have never released anything that we did not LOVE! They manifest the kind of Scathing Black Metal that gets us hyped. I respect the way they can harness raging anguish with cryptic melodic melody! Their last record Dystopian Misanthropy Vol. 2 is full of nonstop bangers that put a sinister grin on my face and empower me to get through this crazy thing called life. All you have to do is blast their songs “Season Of Reckoning” and “Broken Echo” to experience the brilliance of this band.
