I found myself saying, damn, I didn’t know that I needed music like this in my life, but I really fucking do! Imagine if Killing Joke had mutated into your favorite techno programmer, the outcome just might sound like this! Visually this video takes me all the way back to the lo-fi 80s and beyond. But most importantly everyone was unified in the idea of improvisingthe entire thing and willing to get filthy in ultra industrialised and grim environments. Taking the reins for the video for closing track ‘Skin’ is Ōtepoti-based artist and noise-maker Lance Strickland. Taking a more minimal approach Strickland utilises live camcorder footage taken from recent live performances of Barrett and Nicol processed and filtered through analogue video technology.
