NYC Industrial Post-punk group BODY STUFF put out their 3rd EP last month, Body Stuff 3, and today we’re stoked to be bringing you the video for the track “Spies”! I’m calling this “industrial post-punk” but really it defies genre like good music should. It’s music you can dance to, and music you can slam to, and music you can head bang to. You choose your adventure when you throw on a Body Stuff record. “Spies” will take you through all of it and more; says vocalist Curran Reynolds, “the song is about the outsider, the outcast, the wanderer, the spy. And how such a person can move from a state of isolation to a state of connection. Finding home in transience, finding peace amongst strangers. Falling in love with the world. Brandon Gallagher and I made the video with these ideas in mind.” So right now, hit play on our premiere of “Spies” and head here to pick up the new EP!
I can never go home
Or so I’ve been told
Well, I am the world
The glance of every guy and girl.
I walk the night like alley cats of summers past.
Spies, spies!
I listened to a million songs
It turns out there’s just one
And it’s been playing all along.
Infatuated with a face
Now all I see is hearts
And all the ways in which they break.
Spies, spies!
