Legendary experimental noise/electronic duo Orphx has been one of the pioneers of the European “rhythmic noise” scene, and a collaboration with techno/industrial fiend Ancient Methods seems only natural. The name of the project that was born through this collaboration is Eschaton and the first instalment in this apocalyptic ride came in 2014 with the debut EP being released through Token records, and things get even more impressive with the follow-up, Eschaton II.
A raw energy and an overwhelming menacing sense hover over this work. The EP was released back in May, and CVLT Nation is happy to premiere the video for their track “Answer My Prayer.” Have a look at the stunning clip by Dominic Marceau, and lose yourself in the electro punk/industrial vibe of Eschaton.
“His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God.”
