Excuse me as I pick up my severed head because the new Wisdom & War album Superior Design out now on Unbeaten Records just decapitated me! Unholy fuck, this band’s debut is all that and fucking more! If you want thick Hardcore with the feral energy of Metal, this record is for you. As I listen to Wisdom & War, I know I’m listening to the future, and I know that this band drinks Rage for breakfast! What really impresses me about them is how they are able to tap into the past but sound totally futuristic at the same time! Superior Design inspires me to be hater-proof and not allow any negative self-talk to exist in my reality! Damn, this band’s sound is fucking MAMMOTH and EXUDES NO FEAR. Their tune “Fall Back” gives me chills of joy and the groove is more infectious than CDC. Their singer is so on point and kills it with an off-the-chain flow. Don’t get it twisted — as far as the music goes, Wisdom & War brings the pain NON-STOP. I love how they weave in electronics and their love of metal into their creative spirit! How sick is Superior Design? Sick enough to get a spot on end of the year list and for me to cop the vinyl.
