One of the things I love about Anthony is that with every release, I’m challenged to construct new rooms in my mind to understand the musical influences that make up the sounds reverberating off my sensory walls. There’s something oddly comforting in the strange noise sounds on this EP, as if I’m floating backward on a stream of consciousness staring into a clear blue sky. Anthony is strumming my synapses and plucking my eardrums, and although this EP seems simple, listening to it is an immersive experience.
