Hi, what are you looking for?

This is Your brain on SILICONE PRAIRIE “Dance to the Beat”

Are you in the mood for synthpunk that makes you want to get weird and skip through an abandoned lot screaming at the top of your lungs? Do you feel like opening the door to your local Jehovah’s Witnesses butt naked with a studded leather paddle in your hand? Maybe invite them in to listen to a new weirdwave album you just got and dance naked with you? Then I’m going to put you onto the wacky energies of Silicone Prairie, the solo project from Ian Teeple (Warm Bodies/Natural Man Band). The video we’re premiering today is for “Dance To The Beat” off the album My Life on the Silicone Prairie that came out digitally on February 5th – you can pre-order the vinyl from Feel It Records and Computer Human Records (Aus). I hope I gave you some cool ideas about what you can do when you hit play on this video because it’s a jolt of energy you’ll need to get out of your system!

Meghan MacRae grew up in Vancouver, Canada, but spent many years living in the remote woods. Living in the shadow of grizzly bears, cougars and the other predators of the wilderness taught her about the dark side of nature, and taught her to accept her place in nature's order as their prey. She is co-founder of CVLT Nation.
