There’s something so awesome about a jangly, melancholic guitar and steady drum that makes my heart flutter. The weird vocals and sonic waves coming off this track make me think of David Bowie seen through the lens of Suicide. What am I listening to? It’s Bloomington’s The Cowboys single “The Beige Collection” – and it’s kind of like hearing through a kaleidoscope of beige while a voice intones dark lyrics in your ears. The track is off their new album Room of Clons that comes out via Feel it Records on April 4, 2020 – pre-order it here.
