Take a Shoegaze Noise Pop Trip on MO DOTTI “Guided Imagery”

Sophia Negrini

It took listening to about two seconds of their single “Guided Imagery” for Mo Dotti to make me fan. As soon as their dreamy shoegaze noise pop began to pour into my eardrums and wrap its warm embrace around my skull I was hooked. This is what I want to hear those mornings where I wake up grateful to be alive. Mo Dotti is a gentle reminder that even when the world outside feels like pure chaos and anger, there’s beauty being created. The vocals feel like they’re calling to me from another dimension, trying to coax me into better days. The riffs feel like a fuzzy cloud I want to step onto and fly away. The percussion is somehow both driving and delicate.

To sum up, Mo Dotti is sick and their new album Guided Imagery is a dream. It’s out via Smoking Room on March 18th — pre-order it HERE. Right now, get ready to leave your dreary reality as you step into the world of MO DOTTI “Guided Imagery” below…
