Are you afraid to look at your fears? Are you afraid to dance on the bones of your downpressors? Are you afraid to allow the thumping bass of HARD TECHNO to take over your existence? I’m afraid of some things, but I’m not afraid of the new EP from SPEARE entitled Storm. Throughout 4 intense tracks, this human proves why they are one of my favorite techno projects doing it right now! Their music paints dystopian sonic pictures of the world as we know it. At the same time, as I blast “Fatal Terms,” I can see that what we call life is a manipulated world full of lies. I’m not afraid to say that I’m a fan of SPEARE — excuse me as I continue to dance on the bones of our downpressors!
