Hear the Rock n’ Roll Jungle of SHEENJEK ‘Unclever’

Stacey Caitlin

Sometimes when I hear a band name, I already know what their music is going to sound like. That’s not the case with Portland’s Sheenjek. I had no idea that when I hit play that I was going to be wrapped in warm, fuzzy riffs while they took my head off with their crushingly heavy stoner atmosphere. But here I am, whacking my way through a rock n’ roll jungle filled with psychedelic monsters, just like the guy on the album cover, and I’m head banging my way through it all! Their debut record Unclever comes out Aug 28th via Seventh Rule – pre-order it here. Today you get to take the trip that is Sheenjek with our full stream of Unclever here:

Living in the shadow of grizzly bears, cougars and the other predators of the wilderness taught her about the dark side of nature, and taught her to accept her place in nature's order as their prey. She is co-founder of CVLT Nation.
