See Behind the scenes of AMENRA’s 2020 tours

Just as the world was heading towards lockdown, AMENRA found themselves playing to sold-out crowds in South America and Russia. The people who were lucky enough to be at these shows had no idea that in just a few days all gatherings like these would be banned. Amenra flew home to a quarantined Belgium. We’re lucky to be able to share the moments the experienced during that tour through these photos captured by guitarist Mathieu Vandekerckhove. I feel like there’s a sense of freedom in these images that none of us realized was fleeting. Who knows when the travel restrictions will be lifted and when we’ll get the chance to witness this project in person again. Until then, you can enjoy a stunning tour through these photographs. Also, if you haven’t yet seen the new Amenra documentary by Bobby Cochran, it’s a must-see – watch it here.
