Post-Punk

Ride the Scathing Synth Wave of BLEACHED CROSS!

Last year, BLEACHED CROSS released an amazing album that takes a dissonant industrial/noise angle on post-punk. Now their self-titled record is getting a cassette release via Summer Darling Tapes in late spring — pre-order it here. Today we want to make sure you’ve had the opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of BLEACHED CROSS, so listen to it below and pick up one of the limited edition tapes!

There’s something ominously addictive about the post punk crossover that BLEACHED CROSS creates. They take me to epicly danceable synth-laden heights and just when I’m flying they crush my skull with relentless blast beats, melancholy riffs, and vicious vocals. I’m watching their new video for “Suffer” that we’re premiering today, and it feels like an ode to the anguish we all feel as we wake up day in and day out to a world that’s robbed us of meaning beyond our status as a producer and a consumer. We’re left to find our meaning in our suffering, and that can only lead to hate and murder. Instead, we need to find our meaning in the music and art we create and the invisible threads that tie us all together, and let bands like Bleached Cross take us places we didn’t expect.
