Get Loud and Noisy with the REPTOID ‘Worship False Gods’ LP

Christopher Sturm

I always say that CVLT Nation is home to expression that doesn’t fit in anywhere else. It inspires me. I love that when you come to our site and click on a post you’re going to discover music that’s outside of any sense of normalcy, and that’s what you’re here for. So if you want something loud, noisy, intrusive, and groovy, look no further than Oakland’s Reptoid! This is music that’s meant to challenge and soothe at the same time; listening to it, I feel like my mind is melting but I also want to dance, if that makes sense. Reptoid is the solo project of Jordan Sobolew, who makes this music with drums, homemade devices, pedals, and a mic strapped to his face. He’s got a new album coming out called Worship False Gods, and some beautiful vinyl is hitting the streets on August 28th via Learning Curve Records – pre-order it here. Right now, discover what lies in Reptoid’s repertoire below with our full album stream:

Meghan MacRae grew up in Vancouver, Canada, but spent many years living in the remote woods. Living in the shadow of grizzly bears, cougars and the other predators of the wilderness taught her about the dark side of nature, and taught her to accept her place in nature's order as their prey. She is co-founder of CVLT Nation.
