Pop Off to the Post Punk Garage of the PRIVATE LIVES “Misfortune” Video Premiere

I don’t know what made me smile first when I started watching Private Lives‘ new video for “Misfortune.” It might have been the way the song hooked me right away with its feverish garage punk beats and jangling guitars. It might have been the way the vocalist sings “Psychic consequences” while intensely staring into my eyes. Maybe it’s the 60s TV setup and the soapy chewing gum palette. Whatever it is, I’m digging their latest single, and excited that their debut full-length Hit Record is out today via Feel It Records — order it here. This record pops off from the second it starts to the second it ends and it feels like an old-school punk party, making it the perfect soundtrack to hot days in the end times!
