As this world spins on a chaotic axis of pure hate, I look for music that puts me in the right state of mind to deal with this fucked up world. INFILTRATOR’s Remnants Of Battle which is out now on Heavenly Vault and FUCKING KILL RECORDS is one of my favorite Death Metal records of 2024, and I say this with my chest. This band has manifested a putrid sonic tone that has infected this whole affair in a very addictive way! The down-tuned morbid glory of “Fire And Steel” reeks of awesomeness. Plus, how could I not like a tune with lyrics like these:

What makes Remnants of Battle such an outstanding offering is that INFILTRATOR knows the importance of creating an audio storm of atmosphere that never stops reigning down on the listener. I also can get enough of their unreal riffs that are injected with the sense of our impending demise! Vocally, the singer drags you by the skull into their fucked up state of mind! The breakdowns you will experience on Remnants of Battle will have you saying, WTF, this band RULES! Guess what, you will not be wrong in saying that. As I look at the state of the world, I can see that nothing has changed, but at least I have INFILTRATOR as my soundtrack to this madness. I also so must mention that this band knows how to lace their compositions with empathy, which gives a sense of hope. I’m ready for the battle because Remnants of Battle has put a battery in my back. Real talk, this record is bigger then just one genre and should be heard by anyone who loves sick music!
