Fuck, I have chills just writing this… earlier this week I got a chance to see AT THE DRIVE IN perform in Vancouver. To say that this band changed my life would be an understatement! I got into them during a very dark time in my life, when I was pretty much rebuilding my sense of self! It was the words and rhythms of AT THE DRIVE IN that helped me pull through. So as I danced to their music a few days ago, I rembered where I was then and how far I have come. If AT THE DRIVE IN come to your town, do whatever have to do to make sure you are there! Check out this stellar performance of them in Vienna! Excuse me as I dance on the corpse’s ashes.Has a band or song ever saved your life? AT THE DRIVE IN is that band for me and their songs are priceless in my book I know i’m not alone!
