Punishing is the immediate word that comes to my mind when I listen to Swedish hardcore band DISAVOW blast their way through my ear canals and fire off into my brain! The track I’m listening to is the one we’ve got the honor of sharing with you today, “See Through Me” off their upcoming self-titled debut full length coming out in July via Refuse Records, Epidemic Records and Useless Pride Records. This is what plays in my head whenever I’m forced to interact with fake motherfuckers, for real. “See Through Me” is unrelenting sonic violence that those of you who need to vent your frustrations will find spellbinding! The track features additional vocals from Chris Colohan of the legendary CURSED, so it kinda makes sense that I feel like Disavow is stirring up something dark, deep in my Canadian soul. If this band comes to Vancouver I will find myself a safe spot stage left, because we’ve got some head-kickers around here.
