After almost 10 years of covering music for CVLT Nation, I can tell you one thing: I’m fucking sick and tired of people who insist on pigeonholing their tastes to one or two genres of music, and want to gate-keep the create expression allowed within said genres. Nothing makes my heart soar higher than projects like Non Serviam, who take expressions from anarchism, black metal, industrial, experimental metal, sludge, electronic, doom, trip hop, punk and more and blend them into a sonic soup so sour, vile, and poisonous that I may never recover from listening to their music! That’s what you’ve got to discover on their release Le Cœur Bat that comes out September 2nd – pre-order it here and/or help with the release here. Today I’m excited to share the instrumental track off the album, “S’Evaporer,” below. It’s weird and addictive, and if you’re looking for a new music world like I am you’ll dig it:
Non Serviam brutalizes and soothes, moves, despairs and rejoices, and calls for a different way to continue the necessary attack on this world, its witch burners, and the lynch mob of circumstance.
