Summer is coming and I need a new-to-me record to match the sunny skies…and I found it, from California’s JINX! Their record Lifetime Peace came out in 2022 via CRIMINALIZED, and you can stream it here and get it here. It’s got that perfect blend of lo-fi grunge and the fuzzy blur of shoegaze to keep me up and spinning through the few months of sun we get up here in the PNW! I’m a year late to the game but this record is timeless so no worries. Lifetime Peace goes from speedier, rawer, and more urgent rock songs to ethereal, gentle melodies that lull me into a languid state of lifetime peace. I just started listening to this record today and I already know I can’t get enough, so it sucks I missed out on the cassette.
