There’s nothing I love more in this world than seeing my daughters beaming from ear to ear while they watch people piling on each other, fists swinging and legs flailing, in a controlled but out of control pit. Even better when the people driving the sonic fury from the stage are women. I’ve been deprived of that joy for the past year or so but soon I’ll be holding my kids back while simultaneously getting between them and throwing elbows at anyone who’s too caught up to see them. And if Germany’s GLASSES makes it over our way I can tell you the whole family will be there, because this is the kind of hardcore punk that makes us all want to dance and destroy!
