Experience the Provocative Surreal Rock of ADVERTISEMENT “Where Is My Baby?”

Watching this video for ADVERTISEMENT’s single “Where Is My Baby?” makes me feel like I’ve just walked out of an 80s sitcom into the New York streets, roaming from party to party in the deafening dark. It’s making me think about all those nights I spent doing too much and nothing at all. Wandering both in my intoxicated mind and on familiar but still suspenseful streets. I hear a wide range of rock in the song — a little bit Roy Orbison and a little bit Stones — but their sound is altogether something else. Their new record Escorts comes out September 15th via Feel it Records — pre-order it here. Right now we’re stoked to share their video for “Where Is My Baby?” directed by Kyle Mangione-Smith, so hit play on that below…

We tried to reinterpret the visual language captured by Kenneth Anger’s Scorpio Rising—the non-linear and delusional thinking, the provocative magic of the city at night, sexuality as something which is often embarrassing.
