Experience the Experimental Noise Pop of FOURTH WIFE “Attic”

Andy Knolle

FOURTH WIFE is the solo project of Michael Latella (Hissing Tiles) and with this project, he brings a heady concoction of post-punk, pop, and experimental rock. Today we’re excited to share the first single “Attic” off his upcoming release Head Fell Between Two Horses that comes out on November 12th — you can pre-order it here. “Attic” feels like it’s taking me on a ride that I can’t get off, kind of like life itself these days, except unlike the chaos and judgment of human interaction, I’m actually really enjoying this ride. It’s dissonant and aggressive and noisy, and it’s unbelievable that most of the intricately layered sonic textures I’m hearing are made by just one person — Patrick Apfelbeck plays the drums, and everything else is Michael Latella. Right now, vow to put your social media accounts on hold today and let “Attic” infiltrate your mind instead…

Living in the shadow of grizzly bears, cougars and the other predators of the wilderness taught her about the dark side of nature, and taught her to accept her place in nature's order as their prey. She is co-founder of CVLT Nation.
