Experience the Cinematic Death Metal of the FULCI “Cemetery + Nightmare” Video

It doesn’t matter that it comes to us all, the mystery that is Death will always make it sinister. That’s why music like FULCI‘s suffocating death metal exists to remind us of the potential for abject terror in our ultimate demise! Today we’re stoked to share a cinematic representation of their songs “Cemetery” and “Nightmare” off their 2021 album Exhumed Information that’s getting another vinyl release via Time To Kill Records — get it here. Their new album continues their tribute to the cult Italian film director) Lucio Fulci, the Godfather of gore, with this album based on his film “Voices from Beyond” (1991). Below, hit play on the official video for FULCI’s “CEMETERY + NIGHTMARE”!

In 2019 shooting the video for “Legion of the Resurrected” together with Tanner McCardle was so much fun and inspiring, that’s why we immediately proposed to him to collaborate on a new video as soon as we released our latest album “Exhumed Information”. Since we were distant (California/Italy), we wrote the story by email, sending each other ideas and references. That’s how the video for “Cemetery / Nightmare” was born. The inspiration for the music video comes from the film “Voci Dal Profondo” by Lucio Fulci and it includes references to the “giallo” genre and to some typical Italian funeral folklore. The whole thing was shot through the eyes of a Californian director.

After these two years of forced stop due to the worldwide pandemia we are looking forward to performing live for our USA fan base. We have prepared a solid live set including songs taken from “Tropical Sun” and “Exhumed Information”. The show will be supported by visuals inspired by some Lucio Fulci cult movies. We will play the main cities of the east coast but we are already thinking of coming back to the USA to tour the west coast and south/central areas very soon.
