SWEEPING PROMISES‘s music has a simplicity that belies how complex their melodies actually are. I’m watching their awesome video for the title track off their new album, “Good Living Is Coming for You,” and every time I hear this lo-fi post punk song I hear something new. A hint of noise, a glimmer of new wave, a punk shriek. There’s something addictively good about this band and it has me hitting play over and over again on this track.
