In times of isolation I had the pleasure of collaborating with amazing artists for my home made live session.
Although from far away, I contacted friends to send me additional samples, noises, vocals and riffs to play along my live drums. Lord Ahriman from Dark Funeral, Dwid Hellion from Integrity & Psywarfare, Colin H. van Eeckhout and Mathieu van de Kerckhove from Amen Ra, Mutado Pintado from Warmduscher and Paranoid London, Wayne Adams from Petbrick and Big Lad filled me with amazing creative sounds so I could play an improvisational set in my home studio.
The last track of my live session has a sample I’ve recorded from the Xavantes tribe in Brazil. I feel it’s an important time to celebrate indigenous knowledge and connect with them.
