Fly Away on the Rolling Dark Electronics of JEROME ‘Moving’

There’s never been a bleaker, better time to immerse myself in the gritty industrial, brooding techno, and dark electronics of JEROME. With vocals that remind me of a warped church service chant and beats that have embedded themselves in the waters of my body, rippling through my flesh, these new songs from Jerome are a meditative experience in a world full of chaos and noise. I’m listening to their Moving EP that’s out today via Maple Death Records — get it here. It’s all of the genres I mentioned above, but it also brings in elements of trip hop, dance music, and drone that make the whole record a brilliantly unexpected experience. Each song either speeds my heart up or slows it down, and either way, they leave me feeling reassured in both my anxiety and my sanity. This is one of the more fascinating and create electronic projects I’ve heard in a while, so make sure you listen to our full stream of Jerome’s Moving EP here and now:
