ASSUMPTION hails from Palermo, Italy, and this duo wants to help souls connect with the universe through their dark, droning tones and pounding rhythms. Their first mini-album, The Three Appearances, comes out Dec. 5th via Terror from Hell Records/Elektroplasma Music, and we are honored to be bringing it to you in full today. This album takes inspiration from the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddism’s take on the stages of meeting one’s death, and projects this transcendence through their lens of death/doom. If this music was a journey to another dimension, it would be a black hole that sucks all light from the world, only to spit your soul back out into the universe.
