CVLT Nation Captures Corrosion of Conformity & Eyehategod

I finally got to see Eyehategod. I finally got to see Eyehategod. Seriously, words can’t afford to convey how momentous this was to me. Undisputed pioneers of sludge, they’ve shaped most of contemporary music that I appreciate subtly if not overtly. Recognition is all. Words beyond this are useless.

Corrosion of Conformity are a band that never fully captivated me personally, but it would be remiss of me to say that the passion that drives their live performance was lost on me. This is a band that’s been playing hard since the year I was born, and I have to acknowledge that.
