When ATAQUE ZERO dropped their debut EP in 2021 I was an instant fan. Featuring members of a few bands orbiting the Rat Trap (a cultural hub and creative space for artists) located in Bogota, Colombia, their angry fast and loud take on classic punk never gets old. On their latest, Ciudades, they build on that style and sound, beefing things up and ratcheting up the catchiness. Featuring five tracks of punk fury, each as anthemic as the next, the write up on Static Shock’s Bandcamp mentions their sounding a bit like STIFF LITTLE FINGERS and now that’s all I can hear. SLF is an all time favorite, so no complaints here. This is all killer no filler, hopefully a full-length isn’t too far behind!
