CAROLINE HARRISON Draws All My Favorite Heavy Metal Artwork

I’ve been admiring Caroline Harrison‘s work for a long time now without knowing it. I should have gotten more curious about the artist behind some of my favorite metal artwork of the past few years. She’s worked with SUNN O))), Portrayal of Guilt, Ken Mode, Pig Destroyer, Inter Arma, and most recently, Motörhead, and every one is a masterpiece of controlled chaos. She can create despair and triumph in the smallest of details, bringing sorrow to life with a beautiful brushstroke and darkness to light in the most devastating colors. Her subject rot in the flesh and burn in the spirit, crying out in silent screams and malicious laughter. Even though I’m late to shining a light on her talent, I want her to know that she brings something different and profound to every band she works with. Check out some of her work here:
