As many of us have been scrambling for a way to contribute to the cause of Palestinian liberation, we get bombarded with opaque links and dodgy honeypots. Our heart is with those facing genocide, but it can arduous to parse through the fake or unreliable NGOs to get some help to these unjustly subjugated people! Luckily, for lovers of all things dark, Cvlt has the answer for you. Goths 4 Palestine is a compilation for the books with contribution from 30 bands worldwide coming together across several continents for the resilience of those downtrodden in the Levant. All of the proceeds go to Anera, an organization with a proven track record of mobilizing resources for immediate emergency relief and for sustainable, long-term health, education, and economic development to the people of Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan. They also have no political or religious affiliation so there’s no debate about their pure motives of getting relief to these people.
The comp as a whole was curated by Finnish darkwaver Suzi Sabotage and the artwork was composed by Jonathan Sirit of one of our favorite post punk bands Belgrado. The entire cast is top notch with such notables as Vision Video, Zanias, Horror Vacui, Deceits and Dancing Plague among many other bangers. We suggest you get your hands on this as soon as possible as some countries are seriously considering preventing even donations to organizations supporting the Palestinian people. Time is of the essence, prevent the horrors of genocide and dance your ass off to some hot goth tracks!
