Dance the Night Away with The ACTORS ‘Acts of Worship’ LP Stream

I’ll never forget the first time I saw ACTORS live. They were onstage at a beautifully grimy DIY venue here in the Downtown East Side of Vancouver, and they were impossibly perfect. Like every note that floated out of the synths and every beat of the drums and every vibration of the guitar strings and every soaring vocal melody just hit perfectly. And I realized that Actors is a band that is not only made up of exceptional musicians but it’s also made up of people who deeply understand and appreciate the post-punk genre. I’ve heard this echoed by everyone I know that’s seen Actors live and experienced their passion for the music they’re making.

So with their new album, Acts of Worship, there’s a lot of pressure on Actors to keep coming with the hits—and they do. Acts of Worship is one long love song to post-punk, new wave, and darkwave. There’s not a weak, non-danceable track on here. It’s all goosebumps and closed eyes and laser lights in my head. It comes out via Artoffact Records on October 1st — pre-order it here. Today we’re so honored to be able to share Acts of Worship with you in full right here and now:
