Right now I’m captivated by the luscious voice and mesmerizing rhythms created by London electronic pop artist Delilah Holliday. Every song feels like falling into a new world, diving into dancing futuristic soundscapes that sound technologically alien but also feel fully human in their emotion and insight. Her most recent release is her 2023 mixtape Invaluable Vol. 1 & 2 via One Little Independent Records and you can get it here. I’m at home in this mixtape, because it’s wrapping me up in its trip hop and R&B arms while it takes me to places I’m not expecting.
