SALVIA is like a walking work of art. I love the way they use their body as a canvas to bring all of my grotesque but gorgeous dreams into reality. Using FX makeup, digital art, photography, and performance, Salvia creates characters straight out of an alien fantasy, but also brings deformity to the forefront of beauty.
Salvia also released an album this year entitled 001011 that’s described as “deconstructed club,” and it sounds like a mix of experimental noise, techno, industrial, and dream pop. You can watch a couple of those videos below or stream it here.
