Hear the Dark Romantic Post-Punk of DECEITS “Every Promise”

I know good post-punk when my foot starts unconsciously tapping the second the percussion kicks in. And listening to DECEITS has my body moving to their addictive dark post-punk! They just released their new video for “Every Promise,” the second single from their upcoming debut album (check out their earlier releases here). “Every Promise” might be rife with regret, but it’s got me excited for the future of this L.A. band! Especially after I checked out some of their other singles — the guitar tones on “Drowning in an Empty Sea” send shivers up my spine! There’s something devastatingly romantic about their sound that makes me want to love and cry all at the same time. DECEITS has got some live West Coast shows coming up in Sept/Oct — check those out below.
