NyF aims to capture our collective consciousness in their electronic/industrial sounds, and when I hit play on their latest single “Cognition Theory” I can feel my energy tapping into the fields blanketing the planet. It’s ethereal but grounded; a combination of intangible but all-encompassing melodies and pulsating rhythms that beat like the magma that flows through the earth’s veins. It’s like I’ve been plugged in to my purpose and all I can do is move with forces that are larger than anything I can comprehend.
