Sealed Records is a UK archival label that focuses on unearthing Gems from the Punk and Post Punk past. Their latest release is a glorious collection of songs from ASTARON, who were a Post Punk band from Vienna, Austria – to say that their music is awesome would be a gross understatement. After all of these decades, their songs sound magical as ever, which is why we’re so honored to share a very cool inspirational video playlist that was curated by ASTARON themselves. I’d like to salute Sealed Records for putting out historic music that’s stood the test of time, and thanks to ASTARON for creating it!
Martina of ASTARON is also influenced by Brian Eno, Lizzy Mercier Descloux and for inspiration especially Butoh Dance/Carlotta Ikeda, the Serapions Theatre Vienna, Las Furas dells Baus, Survival Research Laboratories, the photographer Joel-Peter Witkin and some traditional fairy tales like the Snow Queen…
