They’re the artist – aka PICTURE ONE – who’s created an epic album called Across The Depths of Seven Lakes that’s a non-stop New Wave rocket ship that will take you to outer synth space! I’m really impressed with their vocal performance and the lyrical content on this project. Not only that, but the song structures are fucking spot on. The lyrics in ‘Love Spell’ are a metaphor for wanting to do something proactive when you feel like things are out of your control. The spell itself is more of a symbolic gesture and serves as the conduit to help you get somewhere emotionally you need to be, and the song concludes that true love in a more universal sense can be found when you learn to let go, rethink, and transcend.
