Canada’s darling chef Matty Matheson is creating something real fuckin’ special for us with Roadrunner Records – a vinyl cookbook, and it’s called A Cookbook. It’s the first cookbook to be released on vinyl, plus it will be the first audio cookbook available on streaming platforms. He’s also got a new cooking show on Youtube called Just a Dash – and if you think Canada is all about Justin Trudeau, being polite and apologizing, please watch Episode 2: Halifax Donair for a more accurate portrayal of Canadians. Once again, Canada is setting the bar high.
A Cookbook features 12 recipes (and the stories behind them) from Matty’s best-selling cookbook with narration by the chef himself. You also get a 40-page newsprint zine featuring the recipes, along with a song pairing from the Roadrunner catalog selected by Matty. A Cookbook is available for pre-order here and ships out on November 22nd.
