80s Hardcore

Rare Photos: Before they were BLACK FLAG – they were PANIC!

What does Black Flag mean to me as a band? I can’t even begin to put it into words the impact they have had on underground music for the past 40 years. Before they became the band we all know, they were called PANIC! Formed by Greg Ginn and Keith Morris in 1976, they eventually recorded an EP around 1977/78 with Chuck Dukowski and Bryan Migdol, Nervous Breakdown, but it came out in 1979 as Black Flag’s first single instead. There’s a new hardback book out called PANIC that features 70 pages of rare photos of a little-known band that went on to change the world in their next incarnation. No matter what name you call them, it’s amazing how much these musicians changed the world and influenced culture. This book has been created on a higher level of quality and is a must have for any Black Flag fan! Order the book HERE!
