Hey hey punx worldwide, listen up, Oakland’s finest hardcore punk ear-hole abusers ODIO (Italian for “hatred”) have returned with a raging new EP! Odio play Japanese-styled noisy hardcore/punk/crust and feature members of such Bay Area stalwarts as Holy, Korrosive, Tørsö, etc.. Scorching and abrasive noise-drenched hardcore, built with the sole purpose to blow out eardrums beyond repair and incite wide scale riots with an absurd sandblasting of lawless feedback, pounding rhythms, hammering riffs, and swarming delay are what-you-get!
Their brand new 12″ 45RPM EP Ancora (Italian for “again”) is out now on legendary Italian crust label Agipunk – and it’s a fucking unhinged, lawless, and fucking rioting rager! Taking influence from the deepest darkest corners of 80’s Japanese hardcore and then from more contemporary bands from Spain, Odio are creators of an abrasive void of noise entirely of their own. The band is currently on a seemingly never-ending tour around the globe (the “odio i confini” tour – i.e. “I hate borders” tour) that has taken them to South East Asia, Australia, and now Europe. Ancora is an 8 track 12″ Ep pressed with special split color black and clear splatter vinyl with screen printed wood covers and artwork by Sugi, and includes a massive poster.
High energy, high negativity, high octane shit to riot to!
