Greetings from New York is a 1983 doc that’s a snapshot of what New York once was. Before the city became commercialized by big business, it was filled with all kinds of characters, even more than it is today. I love the Punk part of this film because it’s super real, and just writing about that era gives me the chills. If you want to know what NYC looked like in 1983 this doc is a must-see film!
