There’s some music that just demands flame-throwing. So when I hit play on our premiere of ETERNAL EVIL‘s new single “Terror Of The Sphinx” and saw the dueling guitars and hellfires burning, I knew I was in the presence of great thrashing evil! It’s a headbanger from the first second, and will have you terrorizing your neighbors, roommates, and families with punishing beats, annihilating riffs, and razor-sharp vocals. This is an aural bloodbath that will leave no ears alive in its wake! Their debut full-length The Warriors Awakening Brings the Unholy Slaughter comes out on Nov 26th via Redefining Darkness — you can pre-order it here. RIght now join me in watching ETERNAL EVIL’s “Terror Of The Sphinx”!
Terror of the Sphinx is a very Middle Eastern inspired song both musically and lyrically. The main inspiration when I wrote the music was The Sails Of Charon by the Scorpions in which we used the same scales. We, as a band, feel like this is one of the best songs we have written to date.
