Witness the Industrial Pop Magic of FERN “Simulacrum”

Last year FERN released their album Intersubjective out NOW on Pelagic Records and it truly shapeshifts into many different sounds! Today we would like to share with y’all their rad new visual “Simulacrum” created by Jan Kerscher.

Simulacrum is based around the concept that our realities and dreams as well as our fantasies and replications of such become more and more synonymous. As we accelerate the process of creating copies of worlds within our world to dwell in, we become creators of alternate realities that are increasingly difficult to decipher and are detached from any realistic reference point.

We’re longing for meaning in this volatile existence, we subconsciously dive deeper into spirals of self-destruction and distraction which further separate us from each other and the experience of witnessing life outside of expectation.
