In better news, Justin Warfield (She Wants Revenge) has a new solo project called WARFIELD and the indie death rock meets surf pop sound makes me want to get the fuck out of the house and enjoy myself in a way that I haven’t felt since March 2020! He’s released two singles so far this year, “Jet Plane” and “All The Fun (Kiss, Kiss, Kiss),” via Cleopatra Records. WARFIELD is downtuned and eerie and dancey and both of these tracks feel like a jolt of electric energy running through my burning veins! He’s about to hit the road on a European tour in June (get tickets here), and I’m waiting on the announcement of whatever rad record is going to house these two bops.
