But it helps me to remember this when I’m deep in my darkest feelings, gnawing my mind with thoughts of an eternity of suffering. I used to numb out with substances and habits and now that I’m sober I need to remember that it fades away, and I forget it until I’m in the throes of my next agony. WARFIELD has translated all this into a haunting, addictive post punk anthem in his new single called “Fades.” His voice calls out from the shadows while the beat thuds like a panicked heartbeat, and the guitars and synths dance through sonic synapses, commanding my limbs to move and my thoughts to float away. “Fades” is released today via Black Heathers and Cleopatra Records — pre-save it here — and we’re stoked to be sharing the video for it below.
